My name is Emily and I have worked with Bemidji Veterinary Hospital for 8 years. I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician while I have worked here. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, growing up on a small hobby farm surrounded by sheep, goats, cattle, and horses. That early experience helped shape my passion and decision to go into veterinary medicine and inspired me to pursue a career where I could help animals heal and return home to their families.
During my time at BVH, I’ve had the opportunity to adopt and rescue two amazing dogs—Mariah, a 7-year-old Pitbull mix, and Letty, a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix. They are a big part of my life.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, and participating in local activities. Some of my favorite hobbies include playing cornhole and darts with friends. This past year, I also became a proud member of the Bemidji Jaycees, where I enjoy giving back to the community and meeting new people.
