Emily is a 16 yr old high school student. One thing that has shaped her life is living with dystonia and neurological movement disorder. While it can make some everyday tasks more challenging, it has taught her patience, determination, and the importance of not giving up. She helps caring for the animals in boarding and learning from the veterinary teams. Working with animals has strengthened her responsibility, compassion, and communication skills and has inspired her to consider a future career in animal care or veterinary medicine.
